Admissions Requirements

Qualifying for Medical School

WUB's Admissions Committee considers multiple factors when reviewing an applicant for consideration. These include performance in undergraduate coursework, your score on the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), as well as intellectual and social maturity, critical judgement, adaptability, volunteer work, and life experiences, and graduate school performance (if applicable).

Evaluation for admission is conducted on an individual basis. We encourage all applicants to speak with a member of our admissions team to discuss their opportunity to attend WUB, including the competitiveness of their MCAT scores, GPA and other requirements.

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree: All applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university.
  • MCAT. Please note that WUB will not consider MCAT scores that are more than five years old.
  • Undergraduate performance: WUB looks at both overall GPA and prerequisite GPA.
